Our WELLNESS ADVENTURE begins in Bali in Tuesday, June 21, 2022 and concludes on Thursday, June 29. 

Because of time zone differences and flight duration, we will need to depart the USA by Sunday, June 19 to arrive on June 21.

Final payment of $1400 due April 15, 2022

  • Covid-10 Vaccination proof including booster. Currently the Indonesian Government does not allow unvaccinated visitors into the country.

 

Included:

8 nights accommodations (double occupancy; 1 private room plan is still available for an additional charge of $1275 USD, 8 breakfasts, 4 lunches, private van transportation, local guide (our Chief Experience Officer) throughout.

Not included: additional meals, flights, trip insurance.

 

It is mandatory for all of our travelers to have Emergency Medical insurance that covers for both emergency evacuation and repatriation to the sum of $200,000 USD.We also strongly recommend purchasing an all-inclusive plan that covers trip cancellation/interruption as well. 

 

Cancellation Policy 

* Cancellation 60 days or more prior to departure = Loss of deposit 

* Cancellation between 30 and 59 days prior to departure = 50% loss 

* Cancellation within 30 days of departure = 100% loss

 

ITINERARY

Day 1: Ubud

Transfer from the airport via private vehicle (included) to our first stay upon arrival. In the evening, meet our local Wellness Tour hosts.

 

Day 2: Ubud (meals included: breakfast, lunch)

Early morning yoga class and healthy breakfast. Visit to Hindu Temples Tirta Empul (built in 962) where we with take a holy purification bath, and visit Gunung Kawi, the ancient funeral monument of the Balinese Kings. We will create an offering (called Canang) that we will bring to the temples to ask for permission from the gods to enter. Lunch is at the Bali Community Training Lunch Program, a local program supported by our host Wellness providers and assists people living with disabilities in Bali. Ancient Balinese belief was that disabilities were a product of ‘bad karma’, and this group is working to break down these stereotypes and provide meaningful employment and education to these individuals. Optional afternoon yoga and meditation to wind down the day. 

 

Day 3: Ubud (meals included: breakfast, lunch)

Early morning yoga class and a healthy breakfast. Visit an organic farm with a chef who will explain the ingredients used in Balinese cuisine, then get involved in preparing a typical Balinese meal in a traditional kitchen and their local exotic herbs and spices. Afternoon of leisure with the option of yoga & meditation, or take time to wander around town, cycle or get a massage.

 

Day 4: Ubud - Pemuteran (meals included: breakfast, lunch)

Depart for Pemuteran in a private vehicle. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a healing ceremony at a traditional Balinese house compound including how to make offerings, herbal medicine and how to make coconut oil. Meet with a Balinese Healer called a Balian and learn about typical Balinese life with a family-style lunch. Arrive in Pemuteran for a free afternoon.

 

Day 5: Pemuteran (meals included: breakfast, lunch)

Begin the day breathing through a special Balinese Healing Yoga session followed by a healthy breakfast. Afterwards, drive to the pier for a short 30 minute boat ride to Menjangan Island for a day of snorkeling over magnificent underwater vistas. Return to hotel with the rest of the day to spend at your leisure.

Day 6: Pemuteran - Sanur (meals included: breakfast)

Depart for Sanur. Enroute our first stop will be Munduk, perhaps Bali's most beautiful waterfall. Optionally take a dip in the natural pool. Next we’ll visit Ulun Danu Temple, a picturesque floating Balinese Hindu Temple. It is one of Bali’s most important and photographed temples, founded in the 17th century. Continue to Jatiluwih to begin our cycling trip (on electric bikes) through rice fields. On arrival in Sanur you can relax with a cold drink by the ocean, if you like.

 

Day 7: Sanur (meals included: breakfast)

Start the day with a morning yoga session in view of the ocean waves from a second floor eco-friendly yoga shala. This afternoon opt for an in-depth Balinese dance class or try your hand at massage by taking an informative course.

 

Day 8: Sanur (meals included: breakfast)

After breakfast enjoy the unique experience of taking an anti-gravity (aerial) yoga class at a family-owned home studio. The rest of the day is free to explore Sanur, a beautiful beach town offering surfing, cycling, snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding or relaxing.

 

Day 9: Depart
