BLISSFUL THINGS

This year we have all contemplated what things we really can't do without that make life just a little more blissful. Beyond just 'essential', there are some things that truly make home more comfortable which we all can use a little more of! In November of this year an explosive wildfire forced me to evacuate with less than one hour's notice, and I really had to think carefully about what things I wanted to take. Some of the things on this list were ones that made the cut; others are just great products that I really enjoy because they make life a little sweeter.

Barefoot Dreams Cozy Chic throw

This is one of the things I took with me during that wildfire evacuation. It's light as air, warm as can be and natural fluffy bamboo. I machine wash and dry it weekly and it still looks as new as the first day, years later. The best investment ever for a lightweight throw.

AESOP BODY OIL

This one is a GAME CHANGER. I put it on post-shower and my skin is super hydrated but not oily so it doesn't get on clothes. As if that's not enough benefit, it smells absolutely heavenly!

HEALING CRYSTALS

These are from my own collection, Body and Bliss by Karen, available on the Shop page. Healing crystals that are as pretty as they are magical. They also come with linen carrying pouch and a handy card describing each stone and it's healing qualities.

Asakuki Essential Oil diffuser

The 'glam hippie' in me wanted a modern-looking essential oil diffuser and this one is perfect. It's clean lines and has multiple illumination settings and an auto-timer for oil mist and light settings.

This is a twice-a-day habit for me so where I go, my journal goes!

SURFER'S SALVE

This is one I'm actually obsessed with. I use it on my lips probably ten times a day! It's super moisturizing and also goes on great under gloss or lipstick.

CLARINS ECLAT MINUTE LIPGLOSS

I love this in color #5, a peachy color that works on literally every skin tone. It's not sticky, not fragranced, fits easily into my pocket and never leaks or gets messy like so many lipgloss containers.

LELABO HAND SOAP IN HINOKI

My favorite hand soap ever, and goodness knows we have used a lot of hand soap this year! I actually use this to hand wash my face masks too because I love the scent so much - it's really decadent without being perfume-y.

IMMUNE SUPPORT + PROTECT

These are a new immune support supplement by MDRN Athlete that I really love. It's pharmacist-formulated with vitamins C, D, Reishi mushrooms, Zinc & Echinacea. I like anything that gives me that many defenses in 2 pills instead of taking them all individually.

Tan Towel

I'm a pale-skinned Canadian girl living in Southern California where year-round shorts and dresses are 'a thing'. These are super quick and easy and a nice glow without an obvious fake tan.

Quip Toothbrush

A brilliant idea and as far as toothbrushes go, also very pretty. Every 90 days a new toothbrush head and fresh battery are mailed to you so you don't have to ever wonder if you're due for a new brush. It also has a vibrating timed cycle so you know how long to brush each quadrant before your'e done.

Steripod Toothbrush Cover

I am super grossed-out by exposed toothbrushes. These use something called Thymol vapors to sterilize the bristles while they keep your toothbrush covered against airborne bacteria. Love these and wouldn't live without them.

Sephora Silicone Hair Bands

I have had long and extremely thick hair my whole life and tried 'em all in the hair bands, hair ties and hair pins market. The Sephora brand are by far the best of any hair elastics I've ever used, they're cheap, they're super stretchy but hold my hair tight in place and they never break.

Veuve Clicquot Champagne

I had to include champagne! I've loved it from the first time I tried it at 18 and can't wait for travel to go back to normal so I can finally get to the champagne vineyards in France. To the good life!
